A completed subproject under the Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project –Phase III (ARISP III) was turned-over recently to the LGU of Banayoyo, Ilocos Norte: the improvement of Junction Provincial Highway – Lintic Road with Bridge subproject, situated in Taclin ARC, with a total length of 3.68 kilometers with a cost of P12.7 million. The road project will benefit 431 households in Taclin ARC and will likewise benefit adjacent areas who will utilize the road as a shorter route to Candon City.

The ceremonies was led by DAR Regional Office I Regional Director Homer P. Tobias and DARPO Ilocos Sur PARO II Rebecca I. Igarta and from the Central ARISP III PMO, ARISP III Assistant National Project Manager, Henry Zapata and ARISP III Team Leader Imelda Lamboon, both from the CPMO.

Among the guests and keynote speakers during the turn-over ceremonies, was Congressman Eric Own G. Singson, Jr. Of the 2nd district of Ilocos Sur and Banayoyo Municipal Mayor Severino Glanga (PIO-Ilocos Sur, 11 February 2011).
