  The "Health and Nutrition" project of BIARSP under Basic Education component provided pre-schoolers and elementary pupils with fresh milk, supplemental feedings, micro-nutrient and de-worming drugs which resulted to improved health of school children. Assisted schools also reported raising scholastic performance after the provision of textbooks, instructional tools and equipment, school furniture, rehabilitation of class rooms and training of teachers and schools administrators.
