Before
the intervention of DAR through BIARSP, the Liloy Medicare Hospital was
just a primary hospital incapable of major surgical operation. Now transformed
into secondary Integrated Local Health District Hospital and after infusion
of technical and financial assistance with strong collaboration from the
Local Government Unit, Department of Health and Government of Belgium through
BIARSP, it has already performed major surgical operations such as Caesarians,
Appendectomy, Explorlaparotomy, Hydrocelectomy, Cataract Extraction and
Oophorectomy. The BIARSP assisted four (4) Integrated Local Health Districts
in regions VII and IX providing assistance to District Hospitals, Rural
Units and Barangay Health Stations. |
